Bookmark Folder Navigator

Privacy policy and purchase terms

Data used by the extension

The extension reads bookmark folder names, bookmark titles, bookmark URLs, and bookmark order only to provide sequential bookmark navigation. This bookmark information stays in the browser and is not sent to the developer, Stripe, Google Sheets, or Resend.

Navigation preferences, selected folders, current positions, Premium status, purchase email, and license key are stored locally through Chrome storage.

Premium license verification

When a user activates or revalidates Premium, the entered purchase email and license key are sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint operated by the developer. The endpoint compares those values with the private license records in Google Sheets and returns only the license status and enabled features.

Payments and license delivery

Premium checkout is processed by Stripe. License emails are delivered through Resend. Stripe and Resend process information under their own privacy terms. Google is not the seller and does not process the Premium purchase.

Website access for the optional banner

The Premium navigation banner requests optional access to HTTP and HTTPS pages only after the user enables it. That access is used to display the packaged navigation controls in bookmark-navigation tabs. Page content is not collected or transmitted.

Sharing, advertising, and remote code

The extension does not sell user data, use advertising trackers, or execute remotely hosted code. Information is shared only with the services described above when needed for payment, license delivery, or license verification.

Google API Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Purchase terms and refunds

Premium features, price, currency, and billing terms are shown on the Stripe-hosted checkout page before payment. Premium unlocks recursive folder navigation and the optional on-page navigation banner. Refund requests are handled by the extension developer. Users should use the support contact shown on the Chrome Web Store listing. Applicable consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the extension or its service providers change. The public version linked from the Chrome Web Store listing will be the controlling version.
